Tomorrow is a BIG day!

I am so excited for tomorrow to come! It is a big day in three exciting ways!

1. The First day of Winter Semester at BYU!
This semester I am taking Intermediate Price Theory 2, Intro to Econometrics, SAS Certification, Fundementals of Mathematics, Physical Science, and Doctrine and Covenants. The first day of class for all of these classes except Docrtine and Covenants(which starts next Monday) is tomorrow, which will be intense. I am pretty excited for Econometrics and learning some statistical techniques to use on data, and it could potentially be useful at my new job at the BYU NOC.

2. BYU(14) vs UNLV(25)!
This is in my opinion BYU's biggest game of the season so far. I wouldn't say I am a huge sports fan, but I do like to follow BYU since I attend the school and all. UNLV is BYU's first conference opponent as well as their first ranked opponent. Led by Jimmer Fredette BYU has only lost one game this season, against UCLA. I am excited to see how BYU does against UNLV to gauge their chances at the conference title against the other ranked conference team, SDSU. It should be interesting. Maybe next year I will invest in an all sports pass...

3. CES Press Day!
CES(The Consumer Electronics Show) is arguably the tech industries biggest event of the year and I am super excited to see what is in store in the smartphone realm.  Verizon has been teasing an announcement regarding Android 4G LTE devices and I am looking forward to seeing the launch of LTE in earnest with some new smartphones. Verizon will be the 3rd (kind of) of the big 4 cellular carriers to launch 4G smartphones with verizon being the first to use LTE(Long Term Evolution) technology, behind Sprint with their WIMAX network and T-Mobile with HSPA+(which some would argue isn't really 4G, but whatever). Even though I am not due for another upgrade until January 2012, I am still obsessed with knowing about the latest greatest smartphones, particularly whatever it is that HTC has been teasing the last few days.
